I speak as one who has read much, lived much, taught much, and now write and draw much.
I just now read a piece by one who blames the man who won the Nobel Peace Prize, President Carter, for the causes of our so-called War (that really is no War at all--but a confusing slaughter of young men and women, both American and Iraqui.
Such a person would also blame this man of peace simply because the writer did not read enough and get his facts in order. He goes on to blame Clinton whom he calls 'do-nothing'--simply because a TV show based on fiction of 9-11 and presented by ABC so said it.
Alas, poor Yorick! An empty head usually babbles such sorts of things.
The time is now for building up our own home country first: starting with raising the minimum wage, going to cleaning up the corrupt congress of Republicans who used lobbists as others of us use the power of factual information.
Next, BRING HOME THE SOLDIERS!!!! They have no purpose in Iraq, except that they survive long enough to come home and most know it, too.
Iraq, a center of terrorism? Only to itself. A civil war has begun with this horrid and immoral invasion we have begun into their land. If they hated us before, it is now compounded, and multi-compounded with our presence that has lead to pure distruction of the land where Western History began.
There is so much ignorance among those who write and do not get the facts first. Well, ignorance is cureable. They can search for facts; they can get them straight before they talk.
But stupid is forever.
