LAS VEGAS – Sharron Angle was asked about her inflammatory TV ads by a member of the Hispanic Student Union at Rancho High School in Las Vegas – ads that have been referred to as “Sharron Angle’s ‘Willie Horton’” and widely panned for using incendiary, nefarious-looking photos of Latinos and scurrying across a fence and imposed in front of a map of Mexico.

Sharron Angle has received national attention for inflammatory ads featuring images like the one below – referred to by media as “Sharron Angle’s ‘Willie Horton’ Ad” – and was asked about it by a member of the Hispanic Student Union at Rancho High School in Las Vegas.

Angle literally looked at a room full of 100-plus Hispanic teenagers and told them they’d misinterpreted her ads, questioned the premise the ads were about Latinos, and said the issue in the ad was border security, specifically our northern border with Canada.
