LAS VEGAS – Exactly one week after Sharron Angle declared she was done stonewalling media seeking answers to their questions about her extreme and dangerous agenda for Nevada, the verdict on her declaration is clear – Angle’s refusal to address the media and Nevada voters is now worse than ever. (See list below.) In the last week, Angle has made multiple public appearances that have concluded with her literally running from television cameras after promising to answer their questions.

Angle’s most recent runaway act follows inquiries from Reno media about Republican Dean Heller’s criticism of her extremely callous remarks that unemployed Nevadans are “spoiled,” and recent comments in which she told conservative bloggers that her position on Social Security was literally the exact opposite of her true agenda to eliminate it – a bald-faced lie that she’s already been called on in the media.
“Though saying she’d address the media, Sharron Angle and her new DC handlers have actually amped up their efforts to hide her extreme and dangerous agenda from the voters of Nevada, retreating to her underground bunker as she’s literally chased away by media merely seeking explanations of her own words,” said Kelly Steele, spokesman for the Reid campaign. “Angle and her new DC handlers are acutely aware that as voters discover her plans to eliminate Social Security, abolish the Department of Education, turn Nevada into America’s nuclear waste haven, and eliminate oversight of Wall Street and big oil companies like BP, her poll numbers will continue to hemorrhage because her views are extremely far outside the mainstream.”
