LAS VEGAS – The Harry Reid campaign today released a devastating new TV ad featuring a bi-partisan group of Nevada business leaders and major job creators denouncing Sharron Angle’s dangerous anti-jobs agenda and its disastrous consequences for the state’s economy.
The ad puts a face on the widely reported hemorrhage of Nevada businesses fleeing from what the Las Vegas Sun describes as Sharron Angle’s “reckless”, “radical” and “extreme” agenda – particularly her dangerous philosophy that it’s not the job of a senator to create jobs.
Their message is clear: replacing Senator Reid with Sharron Angle would be a disaster.
“She will be a knockout punch for Nevada’s economy,” says Larry Ruvo, the Senior Managing Director of Southern Wine & Spirits. “We need the Majority Leader.”
“Electing Sharron Angle would cost thousands of jobs,” says Jan Jones, Senior Vice President for Communications at Harrah’s Entertainment, who’s on record thanking Senator Reid for inserting a debt cancellation provision into the Economic Recovery Act that protected 31,000 jobs at Harrahs.

“Let’s start with the fact that I’m a Republican,” said Jim Murren, CEO of MGM Resorts – the largest employer in the state. “There is nobody that has done more for the state.”
