$2 million grant to fund Boulder City Bypass
KVVU, 8/25/11 - Nevada Senator Harry Reid Thursday announced a $2 million grant to fund the development of the Boulder City Bypass.
The project is aimed at relieving congestion on Interstate 515 heading towards the Hoover Dam.
"I'm pleased that this funding will support making the much-needed Boulder City Bypass a reality," Reid said. "I will continue to ensure that this bypass remains a priority on the federal level as we work to alleviate congestion and remove truck traffic that's been a nuisance to residents of Boulder City."
