What a night!
It's always exciting to spend an evening with the President of the United States and a room full of pumped-up supporters. But last Thursday night, I felt a special electricity in the air.
"Despite the storm clouds we've been going through," the President said, "you see out in the horizon a future that's bright. You see a future where we're no longer relying just on dirty energy and expensive energy, but clean energy. And it's creating jobs all across Nevada."
It is incredibly heartening to see the tax credits we supported in the Recovery Act taking effect and putting people to work around Nevada.
It's thrilling to imagine that bright future. And it's a great reminder of why we need to work hard in this campaign to make sure we don't turn back the clock on our progress.

President Obama and I stand for clean energy and good jobs. And judging from the buzz in the room last night, we're not alone.
