This week, a shadowy conservative group called "American Crossroads" - led by none other than Karl Rove - spent $120,000 to run TV ads in Nevada lying about my record.
That's right - Karl Rove is still at it. And my opponent is his new pet cause.
And no wonder. He and George W. Bush tried to privatize Social Security. My opponent wants to get rid of it altogether.
Rove and Bush put Big Oil in charge of our nation's energy policy. My opponent thinks that, even after the BP oil spill, the solution is to "deregulate" the oil companies.
Now those oil companies are some of the biggest donors to Rove's new group.
So here's an idea. Let's see if we can raise $120,000 - the same amount of money Rove's cronies chipped in to run these smear attacks - by the end of June so that we can counter their lies.
When we work together, we're more powerful than the Bushes and Roves of the world. We proved that when we stopped their radical right-wing agenda in its tracks.
Now they're back. Maybe they've forgotten about people like you - real people who are sick and tired of their terrible policies and ugly politics.
