End discrimination

When you go to work, there's a lot of things your employer should consider to determine how well you're doing your job.

Are you on time? Do you join together with your co-workers in a positive way to meet challenges and deadlines? Is the quality of your work up to snuff?

Sadly right now in America, it's not illegal for them to consider an entirely different measure that has nothing at all to do with job performance -- your sexual orientation.

As it stands today your employer can fire you simply because you're gay. It's flat wrong, and it's past time we changed it.

Make your voice heard on this immediately by sharing our message with your friends on Facebook now.

I co-sponsored the Employee Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) back in the '90s. Our effort fell short by a single vote -- and gay and straight advocates have been working together to fight for ENDA ever since.

This year we have an opportunity to pass it in the Senate and send it to the President's desk.

I'm hoping we can do just that, and I really need your help generating grassroots momentum.

If you agree that it's time to pass ENDA this year -- please click here to share this message on Facebook today.

It's hard to comprehend that we haven't gotten this done. Let's seize this chance to do something about it.
