In a report this afternoon on KLAS-TV, New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu ripped into Republican US Senate candidate Sharron Angle over her extreme and callous remarks opposing all federal aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Landrieu called Angle’s remarks “offensive” and “cold-hearted” and offered his thoughts on her fitness to serve in the US Senate thusly:
