Women’s Tea Fundraiser in Reno

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his wife Landra attended Women for Reid Tea Event on Saturday at The Grove in South Reno. The event was hosted by women from across Northern Nevada, including Frankie Sue Del Papa, former Attorney General and Women for Harry Reid Co-Chair.

“All Nevadans, but especially women in Nevada, need Harry Reid fighting for them in the U.S. Senate,” explained Del Papa. “From leading the passage for the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to providing funding for the fight against breast cancer and expanding health care coverage to children with SCHIP, Senator Reid delivers on our issues.”

Del Papa encouraged folks to sign up as supporters at www.harryreid.com/women.

Senator Reid remarked to the crowd that it was good to be back in Nevada. Reid explained that the Senate is focused on creating good paying jobs across Nevada, and throughout the rest of the country, in renewable energy and infrastructure projects. He also clearly stated that he remains committed to health insurance reform. Senator Reid also asked the attendees to continue to spread the good word about his campaign efforts.
